When you have enough Loftia item fragments but they remain separate, the documented demo workaround is to drop the pieces and pick them back up. A complete set is supposed to combine automatically; the known-issues instructions do not require a crafting station.
Try the inventory workaround
- Confirm that you have enough pieces for the same completed item. Different item fragments are not interchangeable.
- Drop the affected pieces.
- Pick them back up and check whether the completed item appears.
The workaround addresses the automatic combine step. It does not supply missing pieces, and it does not establish a universal fragment count for all items. Use the requirement shown for your particular item.
Understand the October 21 fix
The Steam patch announcement reports a fix for fragments staying uncombined. The website’s version qualifies it as “probably” fixed, and its Known Issues list still gives the drop-and-pick-up workaround. Treat the patch as an attempted correction with a documented fallback, rather than a guarantee that your inventory cannot still encounter the issue.
Report an incomplete result
If the fragments still do not combine, report the item name, number of matching pieces and the result of picking them back up. An inventory screenshot can show the state more clearly than a general report that crafting is broken. There is no confirmed alternative recipe, vendor exchange or station interaction for this failure in the current instructions.
