Choose the same server as your friends when you start your next Loftia session. Only players on the same server can play together, and you are not permanently locked to your first choice.
You can keep your existing character. Switching servers between sessions does not erase character data or progress; there is no need to start a replacement character just to meet a friend.
Match the selection before entering the world
- Ask your friend for the server or region they are selecting.
- Return to the login screen for your next session and use the server or region selection available there.
- Choose the same destination and enter with your existing character.
- Agree on a shared meeting point so you can check that you can see each other.

A missing highlight does not mean the Select Region control is disabled.
The current known-issues list calls the login control Select Region. Exact layouts can change, so compare the selection actually shown to both of you rather than assuming that the closest geographical option will match automatically.
A gamepad selection may work without highlighting
In the demo, the Select Region button can fail to highlight correctly when selected with a gamepad even though it still functions. A missing highlight alone therefore does not establish that server switching is unavailable.
For settings navigation on gamepad, use the D-pad; the demo’s known-issues list says thumbsticks are not supported for that navigation. If switching between mouse and gamepad leaves the Loftia cursor on screen, clicking into the game window can restore gamepad input.
Keep server choice separate from platform support
Matching servers solves where your characters meet inside the current game. It does not establish future cross-platform play or cross-progression. Those features should not be assumed when planning to play on a different platform.
