Loftia is coming to Windows PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store, with Early Access scheduled for November 3, 2026, at 1 p.m. EST. On October 23, you can try the free Steam demo before buying. You need a broadband internet connection even if you intend to play mostly alone.

Windows PC requirements

Use the requirements on the Loftia Steam listing when checking a Windows computer; this is the requirements page identified by the game's FAQ.

Meeting these requirements is not a promise of a particular frame rate. The demo lets you check how the game behaves on your own PC, including busy multiplayer areas, before deciding whether to buy Early Access.

Get the playable preview

Find Loftia Demo on Steam, published and developed by Qloud Games. Its app number is 5315310. The main game is Loftia, app 2320980, and also provides a demo download entry.

The demo runs during Steam Next Fest, with English dates of October 19–26. It provides the opening portion of Loftia for you to try on your computer before the paid release.

Controls and performance expectations

You can use keyboard and mouse or a controller. Controller support is part of the launch plan, while the Steam listing currently labels it partial. Demo patch #1, released October 21, fixed controller rebinding and reduced maximum CPU use during shader preparation. Those fixes do not establish a measured frame rate or guarantee that every hardware issue is resolved.

Playing on a Mac instead

The Mac version is also planned for Early Access. Steam lists macOS 14 Sonoma and an Apple M2 chip as the minimum, with 8 GB RAM and 10 GB available storage. Intel-based Macs are explicitly unsupported. Check that distinction before assuming any computer with macOS can run the game.
