Loftia's closed beta has finished. Its announced testing period was April 22–May 6, 2026. If you want to play on October 23, the current public option is the free Steam Next Fest demo, not a new closed-beta registration.
The closed beta dates
The beta began on April 22 at 2 p.m. PDT and was scheduled to end May 6 at 2 p.m. PDT. It was a two-week playtest, with access for Kickstarter backers and players who received giveaway keys.
The historical beta announcement said both Alpha backers and Early Access backers were included. It also said there was no option to buy or sign up for beta keys at that time. Those instructions belonged to the spring test; they are not a current application route for October play.
Play the current free demo
Search Steam for Loftia Demo, developed and published by Qloud Games. The demo's app number is 5315310. It is also available through the demo download area of the main Loftia store page.
The English demo window is October 19–26. It covers the opening Loftia City questline and a selection of farming, decorating, and multiplayer activities.
The demo stops before the Hanging Gardens and caps proficiencies at level 5. Older beta footage showing other districts does not mean those districts can be unlocked in the current demo.
Save demo progress for the next stage
The October demo announcement confirms that completed quests, collected items, and character progression will carry into Early Access. Link your Loftia website account in-game using your email address; unlinked progress and rewards cannot be recovered by the team.
This carryover statement applies to the current demo. It does not establish that a character from the completed spring beta will transfer in the same way.
Recognize rewards from the spring test
The closed beta had its own rewards, separate from the current demo event:

The post-beta update asked eligible players to link their email by May 31, 2026. That deadline has passed; it is not an October demo deadline or a new opportunity to join the beta.
If your old beta rewards and Kickstarter rewards are on separate accounts because you used different emails, contact the team through ModMail for account help. Do not assume that creating another account or playing the current demo will merge those rewards.
Early Access comes next
Paid Early Access is scheduled for November 3, 2026, at 1 p.m. EST on PC and Mac. It is a separate stage from both the closed beta and the free demo, with more regions and features planned. Website pre-registration prepares an account and rewards; it does not grant ownership of the paid game.
